Nokia would be applying a magnetic tattoo inside the user’s skin that would alert him whenever his mobile phone rings or if it’s running out of battery. The tattoo would incorporate few metal ores, and it would vibrate and feel like stinging sensation. Thus, the mobile phone user would have to scratch their arm to dismiss that alert. To make that magnetic tattoo inserted inside the skin, user would have to go through a minor medical surgery to avail the services of this new technology. Nokia said that this service would only get activated after the healing of body scars.

But, it’s a major question whether cell phone users willing to undergo this surgical procedure to avail this technical convenience. This magnetic tattoo could also be applied from the outside of human body, but then it would be less resistant to put it on an open surface. The technology would sense different sequences of single or multiple pulses for communication and tentatively it would do different things for messages, emails or other alerts. Nokia has applied for a patent on this technology which reads as: “Prior to using the ferromagnetic inks for attaching to human skin, the ink material may be exposed to elevated temperatures to cause demagnetization.”

Now, the fans of Indian Premier League don’t have to hassle for IPL 2012 Tickets. A well known ticket booking firm site www.bookmyshow.com today announced that it has united with five IPL teams and thus cricket fans can also book their IPL 2012 tickets from the site. Today. this booking firm said in a statement that it has tied up with two more IPL teams as official partner to sell IPL 2012 tickets for the fifth season of this cricket tournament. Bookmyshow said that it has joined with Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab, Pune Warriors and Mumbai Indians for this T20 Tournament.

Firm also said the booking facility of the tickets for Kings XI Punjab’s, Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians is already available on the website. The fifth season of Indian Premier League is going to be played from April 4, 2012 to May 27, 2012. Founder and CEO of Bigtree Entertainment, Ashish Hemrajani said in a statement, “This year BookMyShow.com will be providing ticketing solutions for Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab, Rajasthan Royals, Pune Warriors and Delhi Daredevils.” The website www.bookmyshow.com runs under the organization Bigtree Entertainment Private Limited.

As per the latest reports, if you leave Yahoo jobs and join Yammer Inc, then you will earn an excellent bonus of $25,000 in the next 60 days. This offer was tweeted by the Chief Executive Officer of Yammer, David Sacks. Yammer is a social networking service for business applications. “They’ve got a lot of great engineers there; the talent has been misused by senior management which has made a lot of bad decisions.” David said in an interview.

It is being rumored that David Sacks, who is also widely known for producing and financing the 2005 film ‘Thank You For Smoking’, doesn’t whisper pleasantly to Yahoo employees and generally he sounds strictly to them. Frustrated by Yahoo’s controversial decision to sue Facebook for patent infringement, Sacks declared a day earlier that he would not hire another employee from Yahoo that doesn’t leave the company in the next 60 days. Later, David Sacks re-declare his announcement by modifying the statement so that the condition would apply only to Yahoo’s senior officers and top-level manager but not to the ordinary employees. Toshiba Corporation has unveiled an ultrabook in the Indian market. The new ultrabook, Portege Z830 is being considered as the slimmest and sleekest ultrabook so far in the world. It has a thickness of 15.9mm with the weight of just 1.12kgs. But this device won’t be so economical for an average user. Toshiba Corporation said the Portege Z830 would be available in the Indian market at the price of Rs. 96,290 which makes this ultrabook the costliest notebook in the Indian market till now. Besides Toshiba ultrabooks, other computer manufactures like Lenovo, Asus, Samsung, Acer and HP have also launched their ultrabooks in India.

In the year 2011, Intel Corporation has announced this fascinating design of ultrabooks with slim and sleek hardware, solid state drives and a premium build quality. Intel Corporation, which manufactures processors that boot more than 80 percent of all personal computers, hopes the slim design of ultrabooks, would dominate the tablet devices like Apple’s iPad and Samsung’s Galaxy devices, which are powered by ARM processors.

Samsung India has introduced Samsung Smart Television in the Indian market today. With its smart technology, users can control this television through voice or motion commands. Furthermore, without using a remote control, users can turn the television ON or OFF and they can activate select applications or search for select content in the web browser. These Samsung smart Televisions are available on Samsung’s 2012 flagship smart TV series which includes: LED ES8000 series, LED ES7500 series and the plasma E8000 series. These smart TVs would be ranging from Rs 45,000 to Rs 2.65 lacs in the Indian market.

B.D. Park, the president and CEO of South West Asia and MD of Samsung’s South West Asia Regional Forum 2012 said at the launching program, “South West Asian consumers have been quick to adopt mobile technologies, like smartphones and tablets that allow them to make their content accessible wherever they go. The Union Budget 2012 has been presented today by the Indian Finance Minister. It’s being considered as a mixed bag of results for the Indian IT & the BPO Industry. The Trade Association, NASSCOM is dissatisfied over this Union Budget 2012 as it hasn’t come up with any fresh proposals for the Indian IT & BPO industries. In a statement Nasscom said, There is no focus on putting the economy on a high growth trajectory; fiscal deficit reduction is through higher taxation rather than expenditure management; there is no roadmap on implementation of DTC and GST; and also issues of tax simplification, litigation (faced by IT-BPO sector) have not been addressed.“

Nasscom also stated that if Indian IT industry continues with the uncertain business environment, then it may effect negatively on the investment and so the growth as well. The Chief Financial Officer of Infosys Limited, V Balakrishnan said, “However, the industry requested some clarity and certainty on the application of tax laws. Hopefully, the Government will provide the necessary clarity through administrative circulars to bring in greater certainty on tax position for the industry”. “The IT industry had not expected any big change in the tax regime,” he added.

After the launch of smartphones Sony Xperia P and Sony  Xperia U, company has now revealed a new smartphone in this category, Sony Xperia Sola. Sony said that the company is now ready to flood the mobile market with smartphones which run on dual-core processors. Sony Xperia Sola is powered by Android Operating System, v2.3 (Gingerbread) which is upgradable to Android v4.0. Xperia Sola also features a Dual-core 1 GHz processor, storage memory of 8 GB (5GB user accessible) by using a microSD card and 512 MB RAM. It has a 5 mega pixels camera featuring geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, 3D sweep panorama and image stabilization.

On Wednesday, Apple Inc. announced an updated version of its previous tablet PC, Apple iPad2. This new iPad2 would feature a 9.7 inch retina display camera with 2047 x 1536 pixels. It is incorporated with A5X, a processor with two CPU cores and four GPU cores. Apple iPad2 would go on sale on March 16, 2012 in US and nine other countries over the world. In India, this new tablet is expected to hit the market in few months. Apple Inc. also declared that the earlier version of Apple iPad2 will also be available in the market and its price would be cut down to USD399. In other countries, the updated Apple iPad2 would be starting from USD499.

In India, price of the previous version of Apple iPad2 has also been reduced by the company. Earlier, this 16 GB storage device that works only on Wi-Fi was available at Rs. 29,500, but now it would be available at the price of Rs. 24,500(including VAT).  The 3G model of Apple iPad2 would be available at the cut-down price of Rs. 32,900. CEO of Apple Inc, Tim Cook said, “Everyone’s been wondering who will come out with a tablet that is better than the iPad 2? Everyone’s been wondering this. Well, stop wondering. We are!”

Recently, Apple Inc has concluded the job requirements it would announce for the sale of Apple iPads and its other products. This new group would include the Apple Engineers who develop the devices and the employees who deliver these devices to the customers. On 2^nd March, Apple Inc has released the results of a study which states that the company had created or supported approximately 514,000 jobs in United States. Other high tech companies, including few Internet Companies, release relatively less job requirements than other protagonists in the US market.

Apple Inc., which has now become a prominent name in the World and possesses more than $100 billion in cash, has released approximately 700,000 job requirements overseas through the suppliers who manufacture iPads, iPhones and other such gadgets. The Analysis Group, a consulting firm hired by Apple Inc has analyzed that around 257,000 jobs were in the companies that work directly with Apple. These jobs include people working at Corning Inc. in New York that manufactures glass for iPhone and employees working at Samsung that designs computer chips for Apple’s devices.
